This policy explains how GoPromo Ltd ("GoPromo", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit our site, request a proposal, or engage us for services. We comply with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

2. What we collect
- Contact details you submit (name, email, company, PIN) when requesting a proposal.
- Business information you share with us (industry, stage, goals, budget, website URL).
- Basic analytics on how you use the site (pages viewed, referrer, device).
- When you request a proposal, a snapshot of your website (publicly available pages) so we can tailor recommendations.
3. How we use it
- To generate and deliver your custom proposal.
- To follow up about the proposal and any services you engage.
- To improve the site and our services.
- To meet legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.
We never sell your data. We only share it with processors we use to deliver our service (listed below) and only to the extent needed.
4. Legal basis
We rely on the following legal bases under UK GDPR: consent (when you opt in to marketing communication), contract (when delivering a proposal or service you requested), and legitimate interests (for analytics, fraud prevention and improving our service).
5. Sub-processors
We use a small number of carefully selected sub-processors to deliver the service: cloud hosting and content delivery, managed database and serverless compute, AI infrastructure for generating your plan, voice-to-text transcription (only if you choose to record a note), and calendar scheduling. Each is contractually bound to appropriate data-protection terms. A current list of sub-processors is available on request to team@gopromo.io.
6. Retention
Proposal records are kept for up to 24 months so you can come back to your plan with your email + PIN. Engagement data is kept for the life of the client relationship plus 6 years for tax purposes. You can request deletion at any time by emailing us.
7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, email team@gopromo.io. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
